IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING™
The Office of Emergency Management is partnering with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) "If You See Something, Say SomethingTM" campaign. This campaign is about bringing communities together to keep our nation safe. Only you know your daily routine best. Therefore, it is important that you take note of something that doesn't seem quite right, and say something.
To report suspicious activity, contact the UConn Police Department at (860) 486-4800 (or your local law enforcement agency). Describe specifically what you observed, including:
- Who or what you saw;
- When you saw it;
- Where it occurred; and
- Why it's suspicious.
If there is an emergency, call 9–1–1.
You can also report suspicious activity to Connecticut's reporting line at 1-866-HLS-TIPS (1-866-457-8477).
Over the next few months you will see campaign posters around our campuses. Thank you for helping keep our UConn community safe.
You can download a poster, such as the one shown below, at the bottom of this page.
