If an emergency event arises that warrants the evacuation of your campus, do you know where you will go? How will you get there? While a complete campus evacuation is highly unlikely, the possibility still exists. For example, a large hurricane could strike your location and evacuating the area might be the best response to protect lives. You will be able to respond best during a crisis if you prepare for it in advance.

Assembly Point
- If you have to leave campus, where is the primary destination you will evacuate to?
- If that location is compromised or unavailable, what is your secondary evacuation point?
Mode of Transportation
- Do you have a car?
- Will you call for a ride?
- Do you need public transportation?
Evacuation Route
- What route will you travel to your evacuation point?
- If the path becomes obstructed, how else can you get there?
Communication
- Who will you contact?
- How will you contact them?
